Our 13th Issue of Mindful Melody is out now - and it's a live music special!
Now that live music is back in full swing we really wanted to dedicate this issue to all of the things we love about going to concerts, gigs, festivals and events! Maxim gives an account of his American adventure, venturing all the way to Lake Tahoe to enjoy a Kenny Chesney performance; David considers how live music has changed over the years and whether the ways of new or old are better as well as a look into the ways that two years of absence has made our hearts grow fonder! We also have a top ten of songs that would be amazing to experience live! Our cover star is Tiera Kennedy, a rising Country/R&B star who Maxim describes as 'making love songs cool again'. She discussed her unique sound, obsession with the UK and exciting plans for new music. We also feature talented vocalist Kezia Gill, with whom David discussed the nature and nurture debate, song-writing, music influences and her anthemic bluesy style. Alongside this is a review of Quadeca's 'I Don't Care', David's piece about the Christian belief that God has a wider plan and a guest article written by Pooja Gudka about 3 key lifestyle habits we can incorporate to improve our mental health. We aim to showcase great music that we feel can help listeners to improve their wellbeing, whether through the lyrics, the music alone, or through the artist's personal story - the artists, articles and playlists in this edition epitomise this. Just as we prefer the experience of listening to CDs and Vinyls rather than streaming music, we believe that there's nothing quite like reading the physical edition of our magazine. For now, Issue 13 is exclusively available in print, so make sure to pick up your copy at: www.newsstand.co.uk/mindful-melody/ We want Mindful Melody to be as helpful as possible to as many people as possible, so we will eventually make all the articles available to read for free online - but we really appreciate anyone who supports our mission by getting a print edition! As always, we want to say a big, big thank you to our long-time sponsors, Scarlet River PR, for their continued support! It goes without saying that Mindful Melody wouldn't be what it is today without Rachel and the amazing team there. And, last but not least, we want to thank YOU for coming along for the ride and supporting us on this journey. We get so much enjoyment from putting these magazines together and we hope they bring as much joy to you as they do to us! Maxim and David x Remember, if you want to keep updated with all the exciting things that we do, including artist takeovers, live streams and giveaways, then make sure to follow us on our socials below...
